Sheffield United are interested in signing Millwall striker Lee Gregory, according to the Sun.
The prolific striker has been in decent form once again this season for the Lions, scoring 14 goals for the playoff chasing Londoners.
However, with Chris Wilder’s Blades looking more or less certainties for promotion, a move to Bramall Lane could well be of interest for the player, who is thought to be valued at around £2m.
Gregory signed for Millwall after impressing in the non-league with Halifax Town, and has since developed into one of the best strikers outside of the Championship.
A move for the Gregory to United would represent a chance for him to move back up North, and would also give the Blades added firepower to supplement the more or less guaranteed goals of Billy Sharp.
Gregory scored a late winner in midweek for Millwall, and will be hoping to hit the 20 goal mark before the season is out at the New Den.
