Nottingham Forest fans were sent into raptures as Matty Cash fired an unstoppable stoppage-time effort into the top corner against West Brom at the weekend.

The Reds battled hard to salvage a last-gasp point on what was a frustrating afternoon at the Hawthorns, where plenty of controversial refereeing decisions went against them.

Sammy Ameobi was seemingly fouled in the build-up to West Brom's second goal, whilst Kyle Bartley seemingly handled the ball when Joe Lolley attempted a quick dribble inside the penalty area.

Yuri Ribeiro was also on the end of a robust challenge from Jake Livermore in the first-half which went unnoticed by Keith Stroud - making Cash's last-minute strike even more sweeter to celebrate.

Forest fans have been sent into raptures thanks to wonderful strikes plenty of times over the years - most notably, the away end at Pride Park erupted when Ben Osborn struck in stoppage-time against Derby in 2015.

Followers of the Nottingham Forest News page on Facebook have been having their say on which goal they would go back and celebrate if they could, in light of Cash's late strike.

Here's what they had to say...

Dave Astbury: Er, Cashy's on Saturday as I was sat in the West Brom section with my Baggie mate (who got the ticket) and had to keep my emotions completely hidden, when all I wanted to do was run the length of the field like Cashy. What a great goal that was. The look on Keith Stroud's severe, humourless face made it even better. COYR!!!

Andrew Ward: Chris Cohen volley 2 years ago, when we needed the win to guarantee our championship status. Amazing atmosphere electric.

Michael Pala: The most unforgettable goal I've been present to see at the City Ground (I'm not local) was the 2-2 equaliser in the East Midlands derby a few seasons ago. Never before have I experienced such a crazy atmosphere for an equaliser. On the day, it didn't mean much but that point would eventually go on to represent the difference between Championship and League One football as Forest only stayed up on goal difference. The two points Derby dropped didn't cause them any problems as they finished 9 points short of the playoffs.

Philip Tomlinson: Ian Bowyer away leg semi final 2nd leg vs Cologne. Ultimate smash and grab. Shilton was immense. Amazing night.

Keith Rooks: Trevor Francis against Crystal Palace.. The game of his achilles injury.. Francis was on fire... He curled it over and around John burridge.... It was... Magic

Rob Haines: Not a game I was able to get to unfortunately but Blackstock's winner against Bristol City. Watching it and the celebrations gives me goosebumps

Kassim Ali: Wes Morgans thunder of a goal at the City Ground against Notts County in 2011. OR... Ben Osborns goal away at Derby 2015
