Blackpool have signed former Stevenage striker Francois Zoko on a one year contract with the option of a another 12 months.
Blackpool’s squad is thin on the ground and they team has made a poor start to the season losing their opening game in the league and bowing out of the Capital One Cup away at League Two Shrewsbury.
Zoko scored 17 goals for Stevenage last season but was released after they were relegated to League Two.
He spoke to the Official website and said, “It’s very exciting to take this new challenge, a fresh challenge. I’m very happy because it is a good step for me to play Championship football and improve again”
Zoko has also had spells at Carlisle and Notts County after moving from Belgian club K.V. Oostende in 2010.
