Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer wants to take Crystal Palace right-back Jack Hunt on a season-long loan, reports the Sunday newspaper the People.
Hunt is yet to make an appearance for Palace having signed for the club last August from Huddersfield Town. The defender broke his ankle in training soon after joining the Eagles and spent time on loan at Barnsley in the latter half of last season.
Rovers boss Bowyer is looking for a new right-back for the coming season as he decided not to sign Todd Kane on loan for a third time.
Hunt started his career at Huddersfield where he was a product of the Terriers’ youth system. He went on to make 121 appearances, scoring four goals, after making his debut in an FA Cup fourth round tie against Arsenal in 2011.
The 23-year-old was apart of the Town side that won promotion to the Championship via the play-offs in 2012.
Hunt joined Palace for a fee believed to be around £2 million.
