Aston Villa and Brighton are interested in signing Blackburn Rovers forward Bradley Dack this summer, according to The Sun.

The 25-year-old was one of the standout player for Blackburn last season, as Tony Mowbray's side finished 15th in the Championship.

Dack scored 18 goals and provided ten assists for his teammates in 45 appearances for Rovers in all competitions last season.

His impressive performances have reportedly attracted interest from a host of top-flight sides, including Aston Villa and Brighton.

Dean Smith is looking to considerably strengthen his Aston Villa squad in the transfer market, following their promotion to the top flight via the Championship play-offs.

New Brighton manager Graham Potter is looking to bolster his attacking options after taking over from Chris Hughton and is hoping to build a team capable of surviving in the Premier League next season.

Dack has two years remaining on his contract at Ewood Park and was the subject of interest from West Ham and Crystal Palace in January.

The Verdict

Dack was excellent for Blackburn last season and he could be capable of making the step up to the Premier League.

He's been arguably the best player at Blackburn since he arrived at the club from Gillingham in 2017 and it would be a major blow for Rovers to lose him, as they would find it very difficult to replace a player of his quality.

Dack could be tempted by a move to the Premier League though, so Rovers may struggle to keep hold of their key man.
