Defensive duo Derrick Williams and Tommie Hoban have sealed moves to Blackburn Rovers, the clubs official website has confirmed.
Williams is yet to play a league game for Bristol City this season and following the arrival of new young centre half Taylor Moore, would have found game time even more limited at Ashton Gate.
The 28-year-old has played in both of Bristol City’s EFL Cup games but the move to Blackburn will increase his chances of playing. He has signed a three-year deal with the Ewood Park club.
Watford’s Tommie Hoban has also joined on a loan deal. The East Londoner did not feature for the Hornets last year in the Premier League but played in the EFL Cup this year against Gillingham. Walter Mazzarri has sanctioned a loan deal for the 22-year-old, who has played over 50 games for Watford’s senior team, in order for him to get some first team football.
