Blackburn Rovers have been handed a welcome injury boost, with the news that Tosin Adarabioyo could be in line to make his return from a spell in the treatment room.

Tony Mowbray's side currently sit 17th in the Championship table, and given that they are just three points adrift of the relegation zone, the Blackburn boss will be keen to have Adarabioyo back sooner rather than later.

Adarabioyo joined the Lancashire-based side during the summer transfer window on loan from Manchester City, and will be frustrated as to how he's started life with Rovers.

He made his debut against Fulham, but has been ruled out through injury ever since, which is far from ideal for both Adarabioyo and Blackburn.

It remains to be seen as to when Adarabioyo will make his return to the side from injury, but it could be when Blackburn are next in action against Millwall at Ewood Park after the international break.

The Verdict:

What a boost this will be for Blackburn.

They've looked shaky at the back this season, and will be hoping that Adarabioyo can return to the side as soon as possible, so tighten up their leaky defence.

If he can replicate some of the performances from last year's campaign with West Brom, then Blackburn will have a player with a bright future ahead of him on their hands.
