According to The Lancashire Telegraph, Tony Mowbray has admitted that he finds it “frustrating” and “disappointing” to still be in the relegation zone.

Blackburn Rovers have been in and out of the bottom three since Mowbray took over last month.

They are undefeated with Mowbray in charge but a late Preston equaliser on Saturday ensured that Blackburn will remain in the drop zone during the upcoming international break.

Talking about being in the bottom three and conceding a late equaliser, a dejected Mowbray said:

“We’re all disappointed and our next two games are Brighton and Reading away.

“We know how difficult it is, we’ve never shied away from how difficult it is, but we have to keep believing that we will win one of those games along the way that we’re not expected to.”

The former Coventry manager added:

“To get the number of points we’ve got is frustrating to still find ourselves in the bottom three.”
