The party well and truly got started last night as Blackburn Rovers confirmed their promotion back to the Championship.

The men from Ewood Park have been through some tough times in recent seasons but they earned themselves an upbeat moment last night indeed as they started their climb back up the Football League.

It's been more than deserved, too, with them flying for much of this season and them possessing a number of players far better than the third tier.

Indeed, one of those is Elliott Bennett and he posted this on Twitter after confirmation this morning...

Plenty of fans have reacted to his post, then, and it is clear the good mood is showing no sign of abating at the moment...

It's a deserved promotion for Rovers and with Tony Mowbray in charge and with the players they have, there's a good chance next season will be a promising one too.
