‘Bit of good news’ – Many Birmingham City fans react to club announcement pre-Wycombe



Birmingham will be hoping to continue their improved form in 2021 when they travel to bottom club Wycombe in the Championship tonight.

Despite their upturn in fortunes, the Blues are only three points above the drop-zone, but have been boosted with the news that January signing Sam Cosgrove has now been granted permission to play at Adams Park this evening and is now in line to make his Birmingham debut.

Cosgrove secured a permanent move from Aberdeen on Saturday, but was facing an anxious wait as to whether he could feature against the Chairboys, although has since had confirmation that his transfer has been granted international clearance and is therefore available for selection.

The striker has scored three times in 14 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Dons and will be hoping to score his first goal back in English football against Wycombe.
