It's been a really tough season for Birmingham City and Steve Cotterill is still looking for a way to get results regularly on the board for the club.

The men from St. Andrew's appeared to invest well in the summer with some eye-catching signings joining a team that should and could have finished higher than just above the relegation zone last season.

Even so, they've failed to find the form they had under Gary Rowett and if they are not careful they could end up a League One side come the end of the campaign.

However, if Cotterill can get a tune from his team they should be just fine and, to add to that, we think bringing in Devante Cole would be a bright idea.

A lot is expected of Cole with him the son of great striker Andy Cole and coming through with Manchester City as a youngster.

He's starting to fulfill his potential now, too, with eight goals coming for Fleetwood this season in the third tier of English football and he's bound to want to work his way up before too long.

Fleetwood would like to think he can do that with them, but if the Blues came calling in January he'd surely be tempted, especially with the Blues needing another striker.

Isaac Vassell is injured whilst Sam Gallagher and Lukas Jutkiewicz are well out of form and so bringing in Cole could be the gamble to kick-start things for the Blues.
