Birmingham, Wolves and Reading among clubs eyeing move for 18-goal striker

Five Championship sides are battling for the signature of Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, with the 23-year-old Welshman scoring 18 goals this season, according to the Sun.

Bradshaw’s finishing has been outstanding this season and if he fails to go up with Walsall, he will be the subject of a big battle for his signature in the summer.

The man has been capped for Wales at youth level and may be included in their Euro 2016 squad which will only provoke more interest in him – Birmingham, Wolves, Reading, Preston and Cardiff are all interested in signing him.

Birmingham have had a striker problem this season with them heavily reliant on Clayton Donaldson, and their lack of goals may cost them a play-off place so Rowett is clearly keen to bolster his attacking options for next season.

The same applies for Preston who have been excellent at the back all season but struggled  for goals, with strikers Joe Garner and Jermaine Beckford unsuccessful.

Wolves have struggled to replace Afobe but Bradshaw would be a good partner for the injured Dicko next season, as Jackett looks to lead Wolves to promotion next season.
