Wolves continued their great run of form last night as they beat Birmingham City at St. Andrew's in a Midlands derby.

It was a pretty narrow affair in terms of score-line with it finishing just 1-0 to the league leaders as the game descended into more of a physical battle than anything else.

Indeed, there was a sending off and some other big challenges as Wolves proved they can win games that require fight instead of playing teams off of the park.

A good win for them, then, though Steve Cotterill clearly thinks it could have gone the other way. The Blues manager hasn't really turned things around for his side so far this season and felt as though a draw was there for the taking last night.

As per Tim Spiers on Twitter, he felt:

Even so, there's good cases to suggest that fans disagree with Cotterill's point of view from the game and that is not a good thing.

These comments, unfortunately, do come across as a little desperate and the Blues manager is going to have to try and turn things into a positive after a pretty poor run of results.
