“I’m starting to miss Lee Clark” – Birmingham fans furious as Zola registers another loss

Birmingham City were dragged even closer to the relegation zone today as they suffered an embarrassing home loss to relegation rivals Burton Albion.

In an Easter Monday six pointer, Birmingham were outplayed by a team who everyone expected to go down.

And while Burton eased their relegation woes, Birmingham were dragged closer to the drop zone.

They are now separated from the bottom three by just three points and two places with an inferior goal difference to those around them.

This all stemmed from the sacking of Gary Rowett in December, even though Rowett had led his side to 7th and on the verge of a play-off challenge.

He was controversially replaced with Gianfranco Zola, who has managed just two wins in four months in charge and he has overseen an alarming downward spiral down the league.

Birmingham fans took to Twitter, enraged that Zola is still in the job and destroying their club.
