Birmingham City have today confirmed that Robert Tesche has left the club and moved to VFL Bochum in Germany.
The midfielder was not a part of things last season as the Blues fought against relegation and he’s not going to be a part of anything this coming campaign either.
Indeed, he’s moved to the German side and the Blues confirmed the news earlier today on their official Twitter account:

Things are set to change at St. Andrew’s.
Garry Monk is a manager that has got a ruthless streak about him and he’s already shown that with him willing to let both his main goalkeepers leave this summer.
Certainly, he’s looking to build a better side for next season and letting players like Tesche – who don’t have a future at the club – go, makes perfect sense.
Monk is a man on a mission and though he has not signed many players this summer he is certainly looking eager to cut the deadwood out of the squad.
Fans will want to see players come in sooner rather than later, of course, but they’ll be happy that a bit of pruning is going on at the Blues after years of building the squad up without success.
