Birmingham City are heading for a mid-table finish however the season ends for them in the Championship this year, and only a massive turn in results would see them end up in the play-offs or bottom three.

Draws were on the menu a lot just before the break in play for the Blues and that kind of form throughout the season - hard to beat at times but not getting enough wins - has meant they're likely to finish in the middle of the pack.

If the season does resume, though, they'll still be looking to finish as high as possible, though they have confirmed they will play without the aid of three returning loan players.

They revealed on Twitter:

The Verdict

The three have been out on loan with League Two seeing the trio in action this year, so perhaps it's no surprise to see them back after the way the fourth tier seems set to be heading.

All three will try and learn what they can in training whilst back at the club, though, and then it remains to be seen what 2020/21 have in store for them.
