Bristol City head to St Andrew's to take on Birmingham City on Tuesday night fresh off the back of a first home win under Nigel Pearson.

A brace from Andi Weimann helped the Robins beat Barnsley 2-1 at Ashton Gate to end a run of 17 games without a win in Bs3.

They travel to face a Blues side high in confidence themselves as Lee Bowyer's team made it two wins in a row by beating Middlesbrough 2-0 at the Riverside on the weekend.

Latest team news

The hosts may be without Manchester United loanee Tahith Chong as Bowyer revealed after Saturday's game he'd had a groin scan after feeling some pain in training.

Kristian Pedersen may also be absent after being forced off with a hamstring injury in the win against Boro, while Maxime Colin remains out though he is expected to return at some point soon.

City, meanwhile, look set to be without Antoine Semenyo once again while he continues to work his way back to full fitness. Nathan Baker, Joe Williams, Tommy Conway, and Andy King are also unavailable due to injury.

Kasey Palmer and Zak Vyner were not omitted from Pearson's squad on the weekend due to injury and are available should the manager want to include them.
