The 24-year-old, who can play at both centre back and right-back, is rumoured to be a target for Gary Rowett as he looks to shape the Birmingham squad into his own.

Despite being on holiday, Rowett is understood to be looking at potential players to strengthen his team ahead of the 2015/2016 Championship campaign.

After suffering an injury which hindered his progression two years ago, Grandison helped Town gain promotion into League One last season with a second placed finish, just five points behind Rowett’s former side Burton Albion.

However, even though he has moved up into the third tier of English football, Grandison wants to go a step further with a move into the Championship and the Blues might be about to make that dream come true.

Birmingham fans, would you like to see Grandison make the move back to the second city? Let us know in the comment section below!
