Birmingham City await their first win in the Championship this season having earned two points from two draws and a defeat so far.

Garry Monk will be hoping a first win of the new year is forthcoming when they travel to the University of Bolton stadium to take on Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday evening.

It will be a tough test for a Blues side who are coming up against a team who have yet to taste defeat since the campaign started.

In our latest round-up, however, we look at all things Birmingham from the past week.

Friday night saw Birmingham somehow only manage a goalless draw with Swansea City, having had 17 attempts on goal. 

Monk tweeted after the match it was a game they should have won and will look to replicate their performance on Wednesday night against Phil Parkinson’s side.

Cheikh N’Doye departed St. Andrews, signing on loan with French side Angers until the end of the season which will take him to the end of his current deal with the second-tier side.

And N'Doye has therefore signed a deal until June 2021 with the French outfit.

Birmingham had been after Josh Dasilva but with their transfer embargo relaxed to only sign loads, the Blues have missed out on the midfielder who moved to Championship rivals Brentford.

And finally, having missed out on the former Arsenal man, a former player has hinted he would be interested in a return to the St. Andrews.

Ravel Morrison replied to a message on Twitter suggesting he return after of N’Doye left the club earlier in the week.
