Born in Le Blanc-Mesnil, France, Morgaro Gomis started his youth career with Montpellier, before making the move to England and joining former non-league club, Windsor & Eton.

After short-stay moves to Barnet and Dagenham & Redbridge, Gomis eventually played a few games for Lewes in the Conference South, before heading north of the border.

The Frenchman joined Cowdenbeath for the 2006/07 Scottish Second Division campaign, before moving to Dundee United in Scotland’s top tier the year after.
