Born in Le Blanc-Mesnil, France, Morgaro Gomis started his youth career with Montpellier, before making the move to England and joining former non-league club, Windsor & Eton.

Prior to his move to Berkshire, Gomis embarked on trial spells with Lausanne-Sport and Freiberg, whilst he was also unsuccessful in a short stint with Chelsea.

After short-stay moves to Barnet and Dagenham & Redbridge, Gomis eventually played a few games for Lewes in the Conference South, before heading north of the border.

The Frenchman joined Cowdenbeath for the 2006/07 Scottish Second Division campaign, before moving to Dundee United in Scotland's top tier the year after.

proceeding to play a starring role over the next four and a half seasons in the Scottish Premiership, Birmingham City came calling in 2011.

The holding midfielder penned down a two-year deal with The Blues, and after that expired he was not offered an extension.

Gomis struggled for regular first-team football at St Andrew's, playing just 31 times in the league across the two seasons.

Heading back to Dundee in 2013, Gomis went on to play for a little over eight months before a move to the Scottish Championship with Hearts became the next destination.

Helping the Edinburgh-based club back to the top tier, Gomis then went on to play 17 times the following campaign.

The midfielder joined Malaysian club Kelantan for two years in 2016, before returning to Dundee United for a third time in 2018.

Gomis joined Scottish League One club Falkirk ahead of the 2019/20 campaign, spending two seasons for the third-tier outfit before joining their divisional counterparts Clyde this year.

The defensive midfielder has played 12 times for Clyde this season, proving once again to be a regular starter in Scotland.

Clyde are currently second-bottom in the division and will be hoping to avoid the drop to the fourth-tier as this season progresses.
