Bookmaker, Ladbrokes, have listed Birmingham City as favourites to secure the signing of free agent Robbie Keane this summer, with Harry Redknapp interested in a deal for the former Ireland international.
Redknapp has signed a one-year deal at St Andrew’s, and after helping the Blues to survival in the Sky Bet Championship last season, the 70-year old is planning a push for promotion during the 2017/18 campaign.
Keane, who previously played under Redknapp at Tottenham, has been without a club since his departure from LA Galaxy last year, but has been linked with a move to the Championship.
Odds for Keane to make the move to St Andrew’s were at 10/1 last week, but developments over the last seven days have seen odds tumble to even-money for the 36-year old to be at Birmingham next season.
Keane has made over 500 career appearances since his debut for Wolverhampton Wanderers 20-years ago, and has played for a number of clubs, including Celtic, Liverpool and Inter Milan.
