Birmingham City goalkeeper Darren Randolph is set to leave the club on a Bosman free, after the Championship side confirmed via their official website bcfc.com that he would not be signing a new contract with the club.
The Irish international shot stopper has been in negotiations for months with the West Midlands side but it have now been confirmed that no agreement could be reached, and Randolph will be moving on to a new club.
Earlier in the season, speculation was mounting that West Ham United were admirers of Randolph and Upton Park is his most likely destination of columnist Tom Ross confirmed on his Facebook page that the Blues number one would be moving to a Premier League side.
During his two seasons with the club since moving from Motherwell in 2013, Randolph has made 92 appearances including 46 in the previous Championship campaign.
The departure of the keeper has received mixed emotions on social media platforms with some fans wishing him the best of luck, but some fans have also criticised his decision to move on.
