Aged just 21, the defender has been with the club since 2011 when he joined as an academy scholar and in 2012 he won his first pro-contract, and a year later he went on to sign a new one-year deal which also had a further option in May 2013.

However, during his time at Birmingham he only managed to make one solitary first team performance which came in a Championship game against Leicester City in a home fixture back in January 2014.

With chances limited at the club, Bell has been loaned out to several lower league clubs including Swindon Town, Kidderminster Harries and Gillingham.

The club decided not to take up the option of extending his contract for the further year and want to wish the 21-year-old every success in the future.
