Millwall winger Jiri Skalak has struggled to make much of an impact at the Den this term and plenty fans have been debating whether he has the quality required to succeed at the South London club.

Injury issues have hampered the 28-year-old's season but when he has been fit he has been little more than a bit-part player for the Lions, making just eight appearances and not contributing either a goal or an assist.

The physical winger, who is comfortable on either flank, joined from Brighton in 2018 and has featured just 29 times since.

The Czech winger has shown his quality in the past, grabbing two goals and 12 assists during his first season and a half with the Seagulls as he helped them secure promotion but after falling down the pecking order at the South Coast club his career appears to have stalled.

Skalak's contract with the Lions is set to expire next summer, which may mean that Millwall look to cash in on him in the upcoming window to ensure he doesn't walk away for nothing in 2021.
