Sheffield United advanced to the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night after beating Derby County at Bramall Lane.
The Blades have endured a tough start to life back in the Championship, but made it two wins from two in the League Cup after coming from behind to beat Derby last night.
The Rams did take the lead on the night, with Louie Sibley firing in from the edge of the area on the stroke of half-time.
But United got themselves back on level terms shortly after the interval, with Luke Freeman glancing a header beyond Ryan Allsop.
And on 76 minutes, Billy Sharp capitalised on a short back-pass, rounding the goalkeeper and slotting into an empty net to give the Blades the win.
That is now two goals in two games for Sharp, who netted in United’s 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.
After the game, the striker took to Instagram to celebrate the goal and the win, before quickly turning his attention towards this weekend’s clash with Luton Town.

United will hope that that win will give them confidence going forward, and the victory probably gave Slavisa Jokanovic a couple of selection headaches.
Luke Freeman has impressed for the Blades in his cameos this season, and opened his account with a cute header last night.
Sharp is finding form, too, and he’s proving that he can still be the main man in the final third despite a number of strikers on the books.
