West Bromwich Albion manager Slaven Bilic has saluted the start made by Callum Robinson since the forward arrived on loan from Sheffield United last month, with the Croatian boss lauding the impact that the 25-year-old has had so far.
Predominantly a striker, Robinson has largely been deployed on the left hand side by Bilic so far as he seeks to give his side a good balance when moving forward in the final third of the field.
With Matheus Pereira returning to the first team fold and being deployed on the right, Bilic is able to deploy his team with both of the wide players coming in from the flanks onto their favoured foot, thus allowing the Baggies to continue to utilise Filip Krovinovic in behind the lone striker.

Speaking to the Express and Star ahead of his side’s crunch clash against Nottingham Forest, Bilic was quick to sum up the player’s start to life at the Hawthorns:
“I don’t know how many shots he had (at Reading), what was it five? Six? That’s a lot. That’s why we wanted him in the summer also.
“When you have players like Krovinovic and Pereira who can release him, he’s very good at combining.
“He’s a big asset for us.”
Robinson has so far tasted victory in each of his first two games for the Baggies and will no doubt be seeking to gain yet another three points this weekend at home to Forest on Saturday.
Tomorrow’s game with Forest presents another big chance for Robinson to impress his new manager at the Hawthorns and Chris Wilder back at Sheffield United.
After finding it tough to really break into his stride at Bramall Lane in the Premier League, this loan move couldn’t have come at a better time for the former Preston North End man.
Only one thing has been missing from his performances so far for the Baggies and that has been goals, with the 25-year-old surely chomping at the bit ahead of getting his teeth into the game against one of their promotion rivals on Saturday.
