Patrick Bamford was the man making the headlines over the weekend with the Leeds United forward scoring his first goal of the Championship season to secure a 1-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers.

Leeds have had to play much of the season without the 25-year-old due to a knee injury, but just five minutes after stepping off the bench against Bolton, Bamford struck to put Leeds ahead at Bolton.

It was the striker’s first league goal since signing from Middlesbrough during the summer, with Bamford’s former side finding themselves on a difficult run of form and falling behind Leeds in the race for promotion.

After such an impressive impact for his new club at the weekend, plenty of Boro supporters were discussing the decision to sell their striker in the summer.

That, of course, led to even more debate with Leeds’ supporters on social media.
