Coventry City winger Jodi Jones has issued a message to fans following the devastating injury news he received earlier this week.
Jodi Jones was stretchered off against Stevenage and fans feared the worst immediately.
These fears were turned into reality after it was announced that Jones would miss the remainder of the season with an Anterior Cruciate Ligament rupture – the same injury that fellow attacking midfielder Tony Andreu sustained earlier this term.
Jones took to Twitter to send a message of gratitude to all the fans that had sent him well wishes – from both Coventry City fans and supporters of other clubs.
Just want to thank everyone for the continued support, really means a lot to me to receive messages from not only Coventry fans, but fans from other clubs too ????????❤ pic.twitter.com/DJqqKGJGeC
