“Bigger and better next season in League 1” – Fans react to Coventry City star’s message

Coventry City winger Jodi Jones has issued a message to fans following the devastating injury news he received earlier this week.

Jodi Jones was stretchered off against Stevenage and fans feared the worst immediately.

These fears were turned into reality after it was announced that Jones would miss the remainder of the season with an Anterior Cruciate Ligament rupture – the same injury that fellow attacking midfielder Tony Andreu sustained earlier this term.

Jones took to Twitter to send a message of gratitude to all the fans that had sent him well wishes – from both Coventry City fans and supporters of other clubs.

Jodi Jones had been enjoying a fantastic season, netting five goals, adding a number of assists and being a persistent threat when operating on either wing.

Jones has taken to Twitter to express how grateful he is for the ongoing support.

Here are how fans reacted to Jodi Jones’ message.
