Stoke City are reportedly not willing to listen to any offers for Tyrese Campbell according to Football Insider.

Campbell has been in impressive form so far this season, and has seven goals to his name from his 18 appearances for the Potters in all competitions.

He's played his part in their push for a timely promotion back into the Premier League, with Michael O'Neill's side currently sat sixth in the second-tier standings.

The forward's strong performances haven't gone unnoticed though, with Scottish giants Rangers being interested in a deal to land Campbell's signature.

Football Insider had previously revealed that Rangers had made an effort to tie Campbell down to a pre-contract deal, but the forward ultimately signed a new deal with Stoke.

Stoke have reportedly told any potential suitors that Campbell is not for sale heading into the January transfer window, which will be pleasing to read for Potters supporters.

Campbell and his Stoke City team-mates are set to return to action this weekend, when they take on struggling Derby County, in a match they'll be looking to pick up three points from.

The Verdict:

I'm not sure this stance will remain the same.

Campbell has really impressed me in the last couple of seasons with Stoke City, and I wasn't surprised to see him attracting interest from other clubs back in January.

Even though he signed a new deal with the Championship side, I'm not sure this is going to make much difference to further interest in his services.

I can still see Rangers tempting Campbell with an offer in the New Year, as he's shown that he can be playing his football at a higher level in the future.
