Plenty of Leeds United fans have reacted to Jack Harrison's performance in the pre-season friendly win over York City.

The 22-year-old stole the show with two goals and an assist, as the Whites opened their pre-season campaign with a convincing 5-0 win over the National League North side at Bootham Crescent last night.

Harrison was an important player for Leeds in the Championship last season after joining on loan from Mancehster City last summer, although he did frustrate fans at times with some inconsistent performances.

The winger scored four goals in 37 Championship appearances for Leeds last season and will be determined to improve on that next season, after signing another season-long loan deal at Elland Road last week.

Harrison opened the scoring for Leeds after just two minutes last night, collecting Pablo Hernandez's cross before turning sharply inside the box and firing into the bottom corner.

The forward then turned provider, setting up Kemar Roofe to make it 2-0 to Leeds midway through the first half.

The attacker then scored the goal of night, an unstoppable 25-yard drive into the bottom corner to make it 4-0 shortly before the break.

Leeds will continue their preparations for the new season with another friendly match against Guiseley this evening, before the squad travel to Australia at the weekend, where they will face Manchester United next week.

Plenty of Leeds fans took to social media to react to Harrison's performance against York City, with many of them praising him and expecting him to make a big impact for the Whites next season.
