Jonathan Woodgate has made five changes for the FA Cup third round replay with Tottenham Hotspur.

Tomas Mejias has returned in goal after his excellent display in the first leg at the Riverside, with Aynsley Pears dropping to the bench.

Marvin Johnson has also come into the starting XI and will play at left wing-back with Woodgate admitting his plans to give Hayden Coulson a rest.

Adam Clayton and Lukas Nmecha have also been handed starts with Marcus Tavernier and Patrick Roberts settling for a place on the bench.

However the biggest change is the inclusion of Ben Liddle.

The 21-year-old has never started a game in senior football but will slot into the Middlesbrough midfield in place of George Saville who also drops to the bench.

It's a big opportunity for the youngster, but as we've seen this season the Boro manager is not scared to make big calls.

As you'd imagine, many supporters have taken to social media to react to the call, with plenty throwing their support behind the midfielder.

Here's what they've had to say.
