Derby County manager Frank Lampard will be looking for an immediate reaction from his players as he looks to stop the rot, after the Rams suffered their third consecutive defeat at the weekend in the 4-0 loss to Aston Villa, a result that leaves Lampard's side three points off the play-off places.

Ahead of the visit of Wigan tonight, Lampard has received a boost with the news that Harry Wilson has recovered from illness and is available for selection, as reported on the club website.

So how big a boost is the return of Wilson for Derby County?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

"It’s come at the perfect time.

"They’ve missed him at his best recently, and this will be a huge boost for Derby heading into some season-defining fixtures.

"If Wilson can recapture his form of old, then Derby will certainly be in the hunt for a top six finish."

Gary Hutchinson

“Yes, if he’s back on the grass of course.

“It’s got to be a major worry for next season though.

“Derby look lost without Mount and Wilson.

“They can’t borrow their way out of the Championship.”

Jay Taylor

“Big boost – he has been below-par in recent games.

“I think having him back will mean their form improves – but only if he can show he is fully fit.

“Derby are dropping off the pace and need a shot in the arm to get their play-off hopes on track.”
