It's been a frustrating Summer so far in West Yorkshire, with a lack of transfer business worrying the Whites faithful.

Marcelo Bielsa favours a 3-3-3-1 formation with a high press, featuring an enganche - a link, or 'hook', between the midfield and attack.

Bielsa demands high fitness levels, technical ability and adaptability from his players. He likes his players to be versatile and fit into different positions to suit the shape of the side.

This is all well and good, but the lack of additions thus far have been cause for concern at Elland Road, perhaps Bielsa is being too picky with his targets, or perhaps he simply doesn't have the money to spend.

With that in mind, here is two targets Bielsa needs to bring in soon to end the transfer frutration..

Jamal Blackman

With Andy Lonergan exiting the club, there is a huge void left at Elland Road. Marcelo Bielsa needs to bring in a number one and fast.

The only stopper currently contracted to the club is youngster Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

The goalkeeper needs to get used to commanding his defence, and Biela's intriguing style of play.

Bringing in a stopper too close to the opening Championship game will risk miscommunication and mistakes.

Jamal Blackman is a young and very promising goalkeeper, who made 31 Championship appearances for Sheffield United last season.

He has great reflexes and shot stopping ability. Bringing in the keeper would come as a relief to the Whites faithful.

Britt Assombalonga

Following a training ground bust up with gaffer Tony Pulis at Boro's Austria training camp, Leeds United could secure the goal scorer for £15m, which is what Middlesbrough paid for the prolific front man.

The Congolese hitman found the net 13 times in the Championship last season. If kept fit, he could become a lynchpin for Bielsa's Leeds.

Assombalonga has the game intelligence required in a Bielsa side, and would fit straight into the starting eleven.
