New Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping to finally be the man who leads the club back to the Premier League after 15 years out of the top flight.

The Whites' new gaffer has bags of experience at the top level, having managed some of the biggest clubs in the world as well as Argentina, and it is an exciting time to be a Leeds fan on the whole.

New signings are bound to start coming through the door in the coming weeks, and there's plenty of expectation among the Leeds fans as to just who the club might look to sign to fire them up the table next term.

We at FLW have been having a good think about this too, and one player we think would be a superb addition for the Whites is current Preston North End midfielder Thomas Barkhuizen, who despite inconsistencies, has put in some superb displays for the Lancashire club.

Barkhuizen is the sort of player who change a game with a moment of magic and he certainly has the ability to play at a higher level if he can apply himself regularly.

Blessed with pace, trickery, and the ability to beat defenders with ease, Barkhuizen would definitely be a useful addition to the ranks at Elland Road, and would give Bielsa an instant improved attacking option within his squad.

Leeds fans, what do you think? Would this be a good signing? Let us know in the comments!
