Marcelo Bielsa has revealed what he has prepared for the first-leg of Leeds United's Championship play-off clash with Derby County, reports Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post

The Whites head into the match on Saturday evening off the back of an embarrassing 3-2 defeat to Ipswich Town at Portman Road on the final day of the season, with a lot of focus now on whether they can bounce back.

"This event is an episode which everyone wants to live," Bielsa told his pre-match press conference.

"Both semi-finals are going to be very attractive and the final at Wembley will be a spectacle.

"The team who wins gets promoted and you can't have a bigger goal than this."

There is no love lost between the two sides following the Spygate saga that engulfed the build up to their January clash, a topic that continues to rear its head.

It is the Whites who head into the match with the better head-to-head record having already beaten the Rams 2-0 and 4-0 this season, however, Frank Lampard boasts the in form team having lost just once in their 12 previous matches.

In the other half of the play-offs, local rivals Aston Villa welcome West Bromwich Albion to Villa Park.

The verdict

It is a typically matter of fact response from Bielsa, isn't it?

But I do worry about they how they will cope when the pressure is on in knock-out football. They have done largely well against the better sides in the League, but that could all change.

It certainly is a fascinating couple of weeks we have in store.
