Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has had plenty to think about over the last few weeks, with his compact playing squad stretched to the limit by suspensions and injuries to key personnel.

Bielsa though has the chance to consider a new recruit, as striker Pawel Cibicki has finished his loan spell in Norway with Molde and is returning to Elland Road.

So is there any future for Cibicki at Leeds?

We discuss.....

There may be, but it’s a long road back.

Right now, Leeds could do with keeping bodies around the club, so perhaps he has six months.

It’s a crucial time though and if a chance does come his way via injury or suspension, he has to take to.

George Harbey

Cibicki has been a poor signing for Leeds - make no bones about it.

But people thought that about Mateusz Klich last season, and now he’s one of Leeds’ regular performers under Bielsa.

I don’t see any reason why he can’t now push for a place in the side.

Jay Taylor

Bielsa may give him a go.

There didn’t look like there was one for Mateusz Klich before Marcelo Bielsa came in and he has been a sensational player for them this term.

If he is given a chance to prove himself, then there is no reason why Pawel Cibicki can’t force himself into the Leeds side.

Leeds are lacking in a little bit of depth and using players already at the club will save them a lot of time and money in going out and looking for reinforcements.
