Victor Orta is facing a massive couple of months of recruitment as he looks to give Leeds United what they need to go one better next season and win promotion back to the Premier League.

Leeds narrowly missed out on automatic promotion under Marcelo Bielsa last season and then saw their play-off dream crushed by Derby County in a thrilling 4-3 aggregate defeat.

Bielsa’s ability to squeeze every drop out of his players was key to Leeds’ success last season, with the Argentine not allowing Orta to really splash the cash.

Some, like Mateusz Klich and Ezgjan Alioski, have been a hit, whilst the jury is still out on the likes of Barry Douglas and Patrick Bamford.

Nevertheless, this report has caused plenty of reaction amongst Leeds’ fanbase.
