Bristol City have released a new club badge with 'a robin' making a permanent return to the crest and will appear on the home and away kits of City and City Women next season, as well as training and leisurewear, it has been confirmed on the club website.

The new crest follows a consultation process which saw more than 3,350 responses received in a survey, as well as a focus group which represented a cross-section of supporters.

So what is the verdict on the new Robins badge?

We discuss.........

Alfie Burns

“It’s incredibly basic, but I am a fan of it.

“What more do you need in a badge? Club colours, a symbol and date.

“Better than the monstrosity Leeds created.”

George Harbey

"It looks ridiculously like Brentford’s.

"I’m not one for clubs changing badges, however I actually quite like this one.

"It’s very modern, quite unique and I’m sure fans will love it."

Louie Chandler

"Meh.

"It's not awful by any means but it is not exactly mind-blowing.

"It's a safe design with not a lot going on."

Jay Taylor

“Looks like a generic one you get on Pro Evolution because of the lack of Championship licensing.

“It isn’t very imaginative – probably better in terms of online presence and how to use, but it looks boring and so unoriginal.

“Actually reminds me of Brentford’s badge, but with a robin instead of a bee.”
