Aston Villa have a long and proud reputation of producing exciting young players, Jack Grealish being one who looks set for greatness.

Many have pointed to Andre Green as the next example of a young player likely to break through and make a name for himself, but England U20 international Rushian Hepburn-Murphy might be about to get in there first.

He replaced Green on 74 minutes of Villa's win against Wigan this weekend, impressing in his cameo.

He was clearly delighted to get on the field and tweeted a picture of himself in action after the game.

That was met with a great reaction by Villa fans who are clearly excited to see the 19-year old making an appearance in claret and blue.

It was only his eleventh appearance in a Villa shirt, but it was enough to bring fans to their keyboards with effusive praise for their home-grown talent.

They urged him to keep working and take his chances, with one even suggesting he's playing better at the moment than striker Jonathan Kodjia.

Here is a selection of their responses to Hepburn-Murphy's tweet.
