It was a disappointing weekend if you are a fan of Leeds United, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side convincingly beaten by Norwich City at Elland Road.  

Leeds’ current crop of players didn’t cover themselves in glory against Norwich, but a number of their loanees impressed elsewhere over the weekend.

Amongst them was Mallik Wilks, who is enjoying a fine spell with Doncaster Rovers in League One.

Wilks, 20, scored his 10^th goal of the season on Saturday, as Doncaster recorded a 1-1 draw with Portsmouth.

Those 10 goals are complemented by seven assists, with Wilks really starting to progress and make his mark in the Football League.

The young forward has a contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2022, and now there’s belief that the player will have a future with Leeds.
