It's really been a fantastic start to the Championship this season for Leeds United with them currently unbeaten in all competitions and top of the second division table.

The men from Elland Road came into this season hopeful that a play-off place could be attained at the very least but their target surely must have changed to trying to get a top two spot come the end of the campaign.

Certainly, Thomas Christiansen is quickly endearing himself to the Whites' faithful along with many of the new players that he signed with the likes of Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Ezgjan Alioski and Samu Saiz all putting in fine displays.

For sure, then, Leeds have a cracking looking squad that attacks with verve and defends stoutly but it may surprise you to learn just who is the club's most valuable player - as per transfermarkt.

Indeed, whilst you might expect the likes of the aforementioned Alioski or Saiz to own that tag, it's actually utility man Vurnon Anita who is worth the most money at £3.6 million.

Anita, of course, joined Leeds on a free and has been fairly solid when he has played but you wouldn't say he's had the same impact as many of the other stars of the season so far.

It remains to be seen, then, if these values change over the coming weeks and months.
