Ex-Reading player Liam Kelly shone for Oxford United in the FA Cup last night.

Karl Robinson's side welcomed Newcastle United in an FA Cup Fourth Round replay. The U's held Newcastle to a 0-0 draw in the original tie, but were 2-0 down at half-time last night.

But Oxford clawed themselves back on level terms - Liam Kelly scored with a fine free-kick in the 84th-minute, with Nathan Holland volleying home the equaliser in injury time.

Steve Bruce's side ran out as 3-2 winners though with an extra-time goal from Allan Saint-Maximin, but plenty of Reading fans took note of Kelly - the 24-year-old left the Madejski for Feyenoord in the summer, and last month joined Oxford on-loan until the end of the season.

Yvonne Mattos: Great shot. Can we have him back?

Nick Bamford: Some free-kick to be fair.

James Jordan: Better free-kick than anyone we have has taken all season.

Michael McDonagh: Looks the best player on the pitch.

Phil Pratt: He can take a free-kick better than some players at our club. That's for sure.

James Cassidy: It's been coming.

Katrina Hitchman: Think he suits yellow then blue and white hoops!
