Sunderland extended their unbeaten run to ten games in all competitions on Saturday, but were forced to settle for a point as they played out a 1-1 draw with automatic promotion rivals Lincoln City at The Stadium of Light.

Callum McFadzean had put the hosts ahead five minutes before the break, when he headed home from Max Power's ball into the box.

However, Callum Morton's strike midway through the second half levelled things up for Lincoln, leaving Sunderland to reflect on something of a missed opportunity in the battle for an automatic promotion spot, as they remain two points second-placed Peterborough United.

Even so, things could have been worse for Sunderland had it not been for goalkeeper Lee Burge, who produced a string of outstanding saves throughout the game, to prevent Lincoln from taking all three points.

That is something that did not go unnoticed by a number of Sunderland fans as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game, with plenty keen to praise Burge for his contribution to the match.

Here, we take a look at what some of those Black Cats supporters had to say about the 28-year-old's latest performance.
