Amari’i Bell’s fourth minute right-footed strike proved to be the difference between Luton Town and Barnsley at Oakwell last night.

The Jamaican international latched onto Elijah Adebayo’s driven cross that was played just behind the onrushing Cameron Jerome, finding the bottom corner with his weaker foot.

Luton opted to make five changes to the team that started against West Brom on Saturday, with the experienced duo of Cameron Jerome and Henri Lansbury stepping in, whilst Peter Kioso was handed his first league start.

The 22-year-old, who primarily operates as a right-back, stepped into a rather unfamiliar right-sided centre-back role, next to Tom Lockyer and Kal Naismith.
