Brentford got back to winning ways in emphatic fashion this afternoon as Said Benrahma inspired them to a 5-1 success at Hull City.

The Algerian is widely regarded as one of the most skilful players in the Championship and he was at his sublime best against the Tigers, scoring three goals and running the show.

Thomas Frank's side went into the fixture under a bit of pressure as one point from their past two games saw them lose ground in the race to finish in the top two.

However, you couldn't tell from the way they started, with Benrahma opening the scoring on 12 minutes and the visitors doubled their lead shortly after.

A freak goal from Ryan Tafazolli gave the Bees a scare but Ollie Watkins and two more from Benrahma sealed a huge win.

And, the performance of the 24-year-old had people talking - not just Brentford fans, particularly as the game came shortly after his father had passed away, with the attacking midfielder dedicating his first goal to his Dad.

Here we look at some of the comments from Twitter from football fans following Benrahma's masterclass...
