Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon has been nominated for the Player of the Month award for January following a month of excellent displays.

The teenager’s nomination completes an excellent month for the Cottagers, after boss Slavisa Jokanovic also picked up a nomination for the managerial award following a solid month for the West Londoners.

The full-back has been in remarkable form since the turn of the year, scoring six goals and adding a further assist in only five league appearances to fire his side towards the playoff spots.

In that time Sessegnon bagged three doubles in wins over Ipswich, Burton and Barnsley, with the club securing five wins on the bounce in the league over the course of the month.
