Sheffield Wednesday picked up an impressive win at Birmingham City yesterday thanks to a Barry Bannan penalty.

Whilst Garry Monk's men only won thanks to a single strike, they played very well at St. Andrew's and limited the hosts to very few clear chances.

And, one player who stood out for the Owls was Massimo Luongo. The former QPR man delivered an all-action display against Blues, helping Wednesday control the game and he starred with his work-rate in helping win the ball back.

This is the latest strong performance for the 28-year-old, who has been one of the standout individuals for Wednesday this season as they look to fight back from the 12 point deduction they had to start the campaign with.

As you would expect, the fans were very quick to praise Luongo for his role in the win yesterday as they recognise the contribution he makes to the team.
