Reading were outstanding as they hammered Cardiff 3-0 at the Madejski Stadium this afternoon.

Jose Gomes gave plenty of new signings their home debuts against the Bluebirds and club-record signing George Puscas shone as he scored two goals in the first-half.
His first effort was a brilliant individual goal that saw the Romanian start with the ball in his own half before he expertly finished and he showed great movement to double their lead.
The expected fightback from Neil Warnock’s team didn’t really come and John Swift sealed the points late on.
Arguably the only negative for the Royals was that Yakou Meite missed a stoppage time penalty that would have perhaps given a fairer reflection of Reading’s dominance.
But, the fans won’t really care about that and they were extremely pleased with the stylish way the team played to pick up maximum points.
Here’s some of the reaction to the victory on Twitter…
Stunning performance x

Excellent team effort today. Closing them down, pushing forward all the time let's hope this is the team that starts every game from now on.

Best performance for a few years, that. All across the park, there wasn't a bad performance. Even the subs came on and wanted to keep pushing Cardiff. We didn't settle for anything. More of that please! #InGomesWeTrust #LiveFastDaiYongge
