In his pre-match press conference ahead of the Birmingham City clash, Bristol City manager Lee Johnson has said that he believes striker Famara Diedhiou is the best at defending the "mid-goal zone".

The admission from the Robins manager comes after the striker's impressive defensive performance away at QPR on Saturday, heading away corners and free-kicks from dangerous areas.

Diedhiou is able to use his physicality, strength and ability to leap from a standing start inside his own area to defend his own goal. This makes him one of City's better players to have on the pitch when set-pieces are frequent for the opposition.

The Senegal international has proven over the last few weeks that he has more to his game than being able to hold the ball up when playing up front, constantly saving City's skin when it comes to defending opposition set-pieces.
