Loads of Brentford fans have heaped praise on Leeds United following the two sides’ high energy encounter on Tuesday night at Griffin Park.
The Whites arrived into this one having lost four of their last five league games whilst Brentford were looking to leapfrog them in the race for automatic promotion.
And it was Thomas Frank’s side who took the lead in the first half, Said Benrahma capitalising on yet another Kiko Casilla error.
However, Leeds quickly began to assert their authority, playing with immense energy and pace, so it was no surprise when the equaliser finally came via Liam Cooper’s boot after a mix-up in the Brentford defence.
It leaves things very open in the race to go up and both sides are likely to be involved at the very end.
But it was clear from this one that Brentford fans were the happier with the point, heaping praise on their visitors after the match…
Some nights you come up against a very good side and take a point. Leeds as impressive a side seen at GP this season, Bees are in this promotion mix and both sides will be up there come May. West Brom will keep looking in their mirrors. Chase is on. #BrentfordFC 🐝🐝

Best team I’ve seen at GP this season, by a country mile. They played with pace & power, and bullied us all over the pitch. Was happy to take a point this evening.

I totally agree Mick. I usually think a draw is 2 points dropped but that was definitely 1 point gained.

Good commentary as usual, We couldn't get control of the game in midfield and they pressed us all game. Not often at home we have so little posession especially the first half, But 1v1 means we didn't lose ground on them… We go againweekend come on you 🐝 🐝 🐝

#BrentfordFC were outplayed tonight but Leeds still couldn’t get the win and rarely threatened goal.
Something missing in our midfield – a Baptiste shaped hole? @Beesotted

A hard earned point against a well organised, strong Leeds team. Didn’t find our usual rhythm. Fortunately gifted a goal. Hopefully we’ll return to our usual standards on Saturday.. #BrentfordFC

#BrentfordFC were poor tonight. Leeds first to everything and best team to visit Griffin Park this season. Pulled us all over the place. We did well to get a draw. Leeds will never win at Griffin Park 😉🐝
